Join us Sundays at 9 & 11 where Bible stories come alive and kids have fun praising God & making friends.
Celebration Station is our Sunday morning environment for kids. Elementary-aged kids (K- 5th grade) meet upstairs and Preschool-aged kids meet on the first floor. Music, Bible lessons, and fun are part of every week!
The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church!
Both our Preschool and Elementary programs have “take-aways” to help families with this responsibility.
Preschoolers take-home a four-page lesson each week with a review of the Bible story, application activities, Bible memory verses, and a page just for parents.
Our preschool curriculum lays a foundation of Bible familiarity that will help kids the rest of their lives. In the Old Testament sequence "Discover God" children see God's greatness and plan. In the New Testament sequence "Discover Jesus" preschoolers become Jesus' friends.
Every lesson introduces a new Bible story--more than 200 in all! – for ages 2-5. The artwork enables preschoolers to see Bible characters in realistic scenes and settings.
Each week also includes a modern-day application story featuring Dee, Cy, Paul, and Chip. Dee is a Caucasian girl; Cy is Asian; Paul is African-American. (And Chip, the dog!) Our multi-cultural emphasis is deliberate. Children learn that Jesus loves and saves children all over the world, from every race and nation.
Parents of elementary students are encouraged to take home the Daily Devotional Journal for Traveling Together (available at the church entrance) for weekly devotional activities. The students also take home a weekly student page with three things to do at home that reinforce each week’s lesson.
Our curriculum uses a large group/small group format with strong Bible teaching, high-impact worship, interactive lesson review games, Bible memory challenges, small group breakouts and a comprehensive take home review. The blend of music, animation and live action engages kids and holds their attention.
