Julie Barnett

Director, Youth Ministry

Julie Barnett was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as her Savior when she was eight years old. Throughout high school she was unsure of where God was leading her. It wasn’t until her sophomore year of college that Julie accepted the calling to youth ministry. She graduated from Bryan College in May 2011 with her BA in Christian Ministry with a focus on Youth Ministry.

“It was through my own personal struggles that I realized God was calling me to ministry. I have a passion for helping teenagers because I remember that being one of the hardest times of my life. Had it not been for my mentors and others around me who constantly reminded me of God’s grace, I don’t know how I would have made it through those difficult times.”

Julie’s favorite Bible verse is Acts 20:24, “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
