WHAT TO EXPECT
Not knowing what to expect is one of the key factors in why people don’t go to church. Assuming that all churches are the same is another reason. What if you could find a church that was casual, fun, relevant and Biblically based? Would you visit?
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Cliffdale Community Church we try very hard not to fit the traditional church mold. That means you should come as you are. Long hair, no hair, short sleeves and tattoos: it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that YOU are here. We are a congregation of misfits and sinners with a multi-racial, multi-ethnic background. We don’t care about the way you dress. We care about you. God cares about you.
STYLE OF MUSIC
Again, Cliffdale is different than most churches. Our praise and worship is contemporary and fun, yet not aggressively edgy. The backbone of our music defines praising and worshiping God. We can’t claim any one style as our own. Just expect a great musical experience and no hymns.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Our children’s ministry, Celebration Station, provides an exciting, quality, and fun Bible-learning experience for preschoolers and elementary ages. In four years, preschoolers will have learned 200 Bible Stories through our DiscipleLand curriculum. Our nursery is staffed with people who love babies and toddlers. More info here
WHAT ABOUT TEENS?
Teens and Tweens are important to our church family. IGNITE is an exciting youth program designed to disciple and educate teenagers in a relevant way. We are able to meet teens on their level in a Godly way with music, videos, and events. High School and Middle School students have Bible study at 11:00 am (Sundays in the Youth Building). IGNITE on Sunday nights is open to both middle and high schoolers. We meet from 6:30-8:30pm in the youth building for a time of food, fellowship, and most importantly, furthering our walk with Christ. More info here
THE BOTTOM LINE
We are real. We are real people with real lives. We spill coffee on the carpet and we color outside of the lines every now and then. None of us are perfect, but we know that through Christ we can have forgiveness.
